We Choose the Moon Photography
Let your wedding day happen as it may and I’ll capture it as it should be; naturally and without plastered on smiles.
I’m not your typical wedding photog; I don’t bring a ton of gear or even another photographer with me. I’m not a stickler about staying on schedule on your wedding day or posing you just right and telling you to freeze in place. Going through my work, you’ll see I do minimal posing. I aim to balance photojournalism with artistic imagery. I’m not into the cheesy pictures of the early 2000’s or stereotypical Pinterest poses. I’d much rather you have fun and just focus on being with each other. You don’t want a bunch of copy cat images of your wedding day and I want to capture the day the way it unfolds – not the way it’s posed.
I draw a lot of inspiration from my own vintage family photos and the artistic beauty of films made in the 40’s & 50’s; specifically, film noir. I prefer moody and dark images over bright and airy and black & white photos over color.
